The kidnapping of a prominent businessman's wife in the USA was orchestrated by Vache I., a resident of Yerevan who returned from the USA weeks ago. He formed a group and collaborated with others, as reported by Shamshyan.

The group included Robert M. from Yerevan, Artzrun O. from Kotayk Province, Arkadi P. from Tavush Province, and Artyom M. from Yerevan.

The kidnappers initially demanded a ransom of 4 million USD from the woman's husband; however, through negotiations, this amount was later reduced to 2 million, and eventually to 800 thousand USD.
