Elina Avanesyan's Rise and Best Ranking

Elina Avanesyan, representing Armenia, has made her way into the top 50 of the world’s strongest female tennis players. Today, in the ranking released by the WTA, Avanesyan has advanced by one position and is currently ranked 50th.

This is Avanesyan's best ranking in her career. The rankings are still led by Poland's Iga Swiatek, while Belarusian player Aryna Sabalenka, who recently won the US Open title, is in second place.
