Businessman's Wife Abducted from Swimming Pool Found, Suspects Neutralized

After several days of extensive operational-search and investigative joint actions, the wife of a well-known businessman from the United States was discovered today, September 8, following her abduction on September 4 from the "San Marco" swimming pool in Yerevan, located on Ashtarak Highway.

According to photographer Gagik Shamshyan, the police divided into several groups and visited over 30 locations, including areas in the regions, collaborating with their counterparts from the regional police departments. Hours ago, while attempting to flee the country through Zvartnots Airport, three suspects were apprehended and neutralized. Reliable information and substantial evidence linked these individuals to the kidnapping.

The suspects have been transferred to the main department of criminal police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Armenia, from where they were taken to the investigative department of the Investigative Committee of Armenia in Yerevan.

Thanks to the skillful actions of the police and NSS agents, the abducted woman was located in one of the villages of Tavush Province, and her life is no longer in danger.
