Arman Tsarukyan Comments on Fight Postponement News
In the lightweight division (70 kg) of mixed martial arts (MMA), Arman Tsarukyan from Armenia has commented on the news about the postponement of his championship fight against Russian UFC champion Islam Makhachev to next year. The reason for the postponement is a hand injury sustained by Makhachev. This was reported by Makhachev's American coach, Javier Mendes.
“I knew that I wouldn't be fighting Islam Makhachev this year. It will happen at the beginning of next year. For me, it doesn't matter when the fight will take place. The main thing is that I will work hard and prepare for that fight,” Tsarukyan told Red Corner MMA.
In MMA, Arman Tsarukyan has competed in 25 fights, securing 22 victories. Islam Makhachev has won 26 out of 27 fights.
