Why Tigran Barskyan Was Not Called Up: Petrakov's Commentary

The head coach of the Armenia national football team, Alexander Petrakov, commented on the decision not to call up Slovakian champion "Slovan" midfielder Tigran Barskyan to the national team again.

"I made my choice and called up Armenian young players Sevakian, Bichakhchyan, and Serobyan for the wing positions in the national team. I am the head coach and I made this decision," the Ukrainian specialist said during a meeting with journalists.

It is noteworthy that in the first round of the Nations League group stage, the Armenia national team will face Latvia tomorrow at the Vazgen Sargsyan Republican Stadium, and three days later, they will visit North Macedonia.
