Police Warns of New Scam Methods Targeting Citizens
Recently, a new method of scamming has been reported, prompting our police to issue a warning to citizens. According to this new scam method, individuals receive phone calls from unknown persons claiming that a relative has allegedly been involved in an accident or has hit a person and urgently needs money for treatment.
Following these calls, individuals visit the homes of the victims and fraudulently take money from them. This new form of fraud is ongoing, with everyday reports being received at the police station.
Therefore, the police once again warn and urge citizens to avoid becoming victims of these scams by not trusting information received from strangers and verifying the reliability of such claims with friends or relatives.
