Yerevan to Receive $103,000 Worth of Brooms

The communal enterprise "Yerevan Waste Collection and Sanitation" has purchased 100,000 brooms from "Luiza Bedakhyan Stepanyan" LLC, with a total value of 39 million 950 thousand AMD, or about $103,000. This was reported by Hraparak.

The contract specifies that the price of one broom is 399.5 AMD.

As of 2019, the number of employees at the communal enterprise "Yerevan Waste Collection and Sanitation" under the Yerevan City Hall was 635. Months ago, opposition members of the Yerevan Council raised concerns during council meetings regarding the acquisition of 60,000 brooms by the enterprise every month.
