Air Temperature to Decrease; Precipitation Expected in Some Regions

In the territory of the Republic, short-term rain and thunderstorms are expected in some regions during the evening hours of September 5, on the 6th, and at night on the 7th. On September 7 during the day, as well as on the 8th and 9th, dry weather is anticipated.

The wind is coming from the southwest at 2-5 m/s, with gusts expected to reach 18-22 m/s during thunderstorms. Air temperatures are expected to gradually decrease by 4-6 degrees during the daytime hours of September 5 and 6.

In Yerevan, rain and thunderstorms are possible in some parts of the city during the evening hours of September 5, and short-term rain is also anticipated on the night of September 6 and early afternoon hours. Thunderstorms may bring wind gusts of 17-20 m/s.

From September 7 to 9, dry weather is expected. In the regions of Shirak, Aragatsotn, Kotayk, Vayots Dzor foothills, Ararat Plain, and Syunik valleys, a high fire danger situation is expected in the coming 5 days.
