IAEA Chief Visits Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant

The Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Rafael Grossi, has traveled to Enerhodar to visit the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant (ZNPP). He announced this on his X social media account.

Grossi clarified that the purpose of his visit is to "support and assist in the prevention of a nuclear accident." Previously, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that his country is currently unable to regain control of the Zaporizhzhia NPP through military means.

It is worth noting that Grossi has also recently visited the Kursk Nuclear Power Plant.
