Animals Detonate on Mine in Voskepar Border Area

Seven cows belonging to residents of the Voskepar community in the Tavush Province exploded on a mine in a border area. This was reported by the head of the Voskepar community, Ishkhan Aghbalyan, in a conversation with Sputnik Armenia.

He added that this is not the first time that such an incident has occurred in Voskepar.

"The incident occurred in the so-called 'triangle' area. This is the area that is currently under our control, and the Prime Minister had proposed to exchange it," he said.

It is still unknown how much damage the livestock keepers have suffered, but the community leader noted that the issue will be discussed soon.
