High Fire Hazard Situation: What Weather to Expect Ahead
In Shirak, Aragatsotn, Kotayk, Vayots Dzor foothills, Ararat Plain, and Syunik valleys, a high fire hazard situation is expected in the coming 5 days. This was reported by the Hydro-Meteorological and Monitoring Center.
In Yerevan, dry weather is anticipated from September 2 throughout September 3-7, with no precipitation expected. In the evening hours, gusts of wind are expected to intensify on September 2 and 5, reaching speeds of 14-17 m/s, while on September 3-4, winds will be at a speed of 10-13 m/s.
In the regions, dry weather is expected during the day on September 2, with no precipitation from September 3-6. The wind will blow from the southeast at 2-5 m/s. In the evenings on September 2-5, gusts of wind are anticipated to intensify in Armavir, the foothills of Kotayk and Aragatsotn, with speeds of 14-18 m/s.
The air temperature is expected to gradually rise by 2-3 degrees on September 2-3 and is projected to decrease gradually by 3-5 degrees on September 5-7.
