American rapper Fatman Scoop has died after collapsing on stage while performing in Connecticut, according to American media reports.

Mayor Lauren Garrett confirmed that the 53-year-old rapper was immediately transported to a local hospital, but doctors were unable to save the musician's life. The artist's agency, MN2S, has also confirmed his passing.
