Changes in Traffic Organization Expected in the Capital
Changes in traffic organization will occur on Moscow and Isaacian streets in the capital. This was reported by the Yerevan municipality.
“Dear citizens, in order to increase the accessibility of transport flows in the capital, it is planned to change the traffic organization. Starting from August 31, traffic will be organized unidirectionally on Isaacian and Moscow streets, from Nalbandyan street to Mashtots Avenue, and on Isaacian street, from Nalbandyan street towards Mashtots Avenue, while on Moscow street, from Mashtots Avenue to Nalbandyan street, in the specified sections. A third lane will be designated exclusively for public transport in the section from the intersection of Abovyan and Isaacian streets to the intersection of Isaacian street and Mashtots Avenue, as well as on Moscow street from Mashtots Avenue to Abovyan street.
Relevant road marking and road sign installation work will be carried out in the specified section according to the traffic organization scheme. In the intersection of Abovyan and Isaacian streets, traffic will be regulated by traffic light systems,” the announcement states.
