Brutal Murder in Ararat: Victim Recently Engaged

On August 30, a brutal murder occurred in the Ararat region. The body of a young man has been transferred to the "Vedi" medical center.

According to photographer Gagik Shamshyan, who reported from the scene, the deceased is 32-year-old Mnatsakan Harutyunyan, a resident of the village of Aigavan in the Ararat region. He was transported to the hospital in a "VAZ 2107" car.

According to the medical center’s statement, the victim was diagnosed with "biological death, penetrating stab wounds to the left side of the chest, stab wounds to various parts of the body, and a stab wound to the neck." Police and investigators have also determined that he was taken from near house number 15 on Makuy Street in Aigavan, where blood-like traces were found, as well as a parked car that also bore similar blood-like traces.

After several hours of search operations, a knife was discovered, which is suspected to be the weapon used in the crime. A criminal case has been initiated by the Vedi Investigative Department under the classification of "murder." For more details, refer to the original source.
