Trump to Offer Position to Kennedy After Dropping Out of Presidential Race

U.S. presidential candidate Donald Trump has included Robert F. Kennedy Jr. in his transition team, despite Kennedy having previously exited the race. CNBC reports that Tulsi Gabbard, a former member of Congress from Hawaii, is also part of the transition team. The team will make personnel and policy decisions if Trump wins the presidential election scheduled for November.

It is noteworthy that on August 23, Kennedy officially dropped out of the presidential race and called for votes in favor of Trump. In his announcement, he outlined three main reasons for leaving the Democratic Party and supporting Trump: the Ukraine conflict, restrictions on freedom of speech, and the “war against children.”
