Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinyan has proposed to terminate contracts with garden lessees who fail to fulfill their obligations and try to avoid receiving notifications from the city hall.

“Let’s go down the path of terminating the contracts of those individuals hiding under the table to avoid notifications. If we take the termination path, everyone will suddenly reappear,” Mayor Avinyan said during a procedural meeting.

Deputy Mayor Armen Pambukhchyan also suggested discussing each case individually in a working group: “Those that are problematic, can't be notified, and pose a challenge for us, we will make appropriate decisions regarding them.”
