Short-term Rain and Thunderstorms Expected in Some Regions

From the afternoon of August 26, short-term rain and thunderstorms are expected in some regions of the Republic, as well as after noon on August 27 and 28. On August 29 and 30, dry weather is anticipated.

The wind will be south-western at 2-5 m/s, with wind intensification expected during thunderstorms, reaching speeds of 17-20 m/s. In the evening hours from August 26 to 29, wind intensification of 14-18 m/s is expected in Armavir, the foothills of Kotayk, and Aragatsotn.

In Yerevan, short-term rain and thunderstorms may occur in certain parts of the city during the evenings of August 26 to 28. Dry weather is expected on August 29 and 30, with wind speeds of 14-18 m/s also anticipated in the evening hours during this period.
