Man Cuts 85-Year-Old Aunt's Neck with Intent to Kill in Yerevan

On August 24, at 21:08, the operational management center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs received a report from the "Grigor Lusavorich" medical center that an ambulance crew had transported an 85-year-old woman with a cut neck injury for medical assistance. This was informed by the Armenian police.

Criminal investigators of the Nor Nork police department, through operational and investigative measures, determined that at around 20:45, during a dispute over household matters in one of the buildings on Nansen Street, the neck of the 85-year-old woman was cut with a knife by her brother's 45-year-old son with intent to kill.

The 45-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and transferred to the Nor Nork police department. The documents have been sent to the investigative department. The circumstances are being clarified.
