Iran's Defense Minister Receives Highest Vote of Confidence in History of the Islamic Republic
The new Defense Minister of Iran, Amir Nasirzadeh, has been elected. According to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, Nasirzadeh received the highest vote of confidence in the history of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Out of the 288 votes from parliamentary representatives, Amir Nasirzadeh secured 281 votes.
