Taxi Driver in Yerevan Extorts Money from Passenger with Gun Threat
On August 19, at 11:40 PM, a citizen called the operational management center of the Police of the Republic of Armenia, reporting that the driver of a "Toyota" taxi demanded 1,800 drams from him for a 400-meter ride, which he did not pay. However, the driver later came to his house and, under the threat of a gun, took 1,400 drams from him.
Thanks to the efforts of the officers of the Shengavit and Charbakh police departments, the identity of the driver was established.
