A Road is Closed in Armenia

The Rescue Service reports that a road is closed in the territory of Armenia. Due to the construction works of the new (temporary) bridge in Akhtala, from August 19 at 08:00 until August 23 at 08:00, the road leading to the settlements of Akhtala, Shamlugh, Karkop, Mets Ayrum, Ktuts Ayrum, Chochkan, and Bendik will be closed.

According to information received from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the Crisis Management Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in North Ossetia, the Stepantsminda-Lars road is open for all types of transport.
