Video: Fire at Proletarsk Oil Depot Uncontained for Over a Day with Casualties

The fire that broke out at the oil depot in Proletarsk, Rostov region, has not been extinguished for over a day. During this time, 41 rescuers have been injured, and 25 individuals have been hospitalized, 7 of whom suffered burns to their hands and faces. Currently, five are in the intensive care unit.

The oil depot started burning on the morning of August 18 at 6 AM, following a strike from a Ukrainian drone. Local residents reported that the flames reached the tanks, resulting in the city being shrouded in black smoke.

Rescuers have received assistance from volunteers, all of whom brought first aid kits, water, and essential supplies.
