Explosion at Oil Refinery Leaves Injured in Russia

An explosion has occurred at the oil and chemical plant in Sterlitamak (Bashkortostan), resulting in injuries to three individuals. This information has been reported by RIA Novosti, citing the city administration.

“Regional and city rescue workers, as well as employees from the enterprise and city administration, are currently at the site,” the administration stated.

According to the regional Ministry of Emergency Situations, preliminary investigations suggest that a leak occurred in the pipeline's air line, leading to the ignition of liquefied gas.

Twenty specialists and six units of equipment have been mobilized to assist in firefighting efforts.
