Baku Will Regulate Relations with Armenia, But the Armenian Side Should Have No Demands

The role of Russian President Vladimir Putin has been pivotal in reaching agreements to resolve the conflict between Azerbaijan and Armenia in 2020, stated Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov in an interview with Izvestia.

According to him, the result was the trilateral agreement signed on November 9-10, 2020. Many meetings have also taken place with the participation of the Russian side as part of the post-conflict resolution processes between 2020 and 2022.

Bayramov emphasized, "Azerbaijan is aimed at normalizing relations with Armenia, but all unfounded demands, which have been imposed by the Armenian side for decades, should be completely eliminated. This should not be merely at the level of statements and declarations, but should be reflected in a legal format."
