U.S. State Department on the OSCE Minsk Group Format

The United States is prepared to work with Azerbaijan and Armenia in any format that the parties agree upon and where they can make progress, responded the U.S. State Department to a question from the Armenian service of Voice of America regarding the future of the OSCE Minsk Group format and the American stance on it.

In its response, the State Department emphasized: “The U.S. government supports the efforts of Armenia and Azerbaijan to reach a sustainable and dignified peace agreement. We are ready to work with both sides in any format that the parties can agree upon and where they can register progress,” stated the U.S. State Department.
