A forest fire has broken out in Izmir, a resort city in western Turkey. The information is reported by the Turkish network 'Halk TV'.
'The city is completely covered in smoke due to the fire. The flames have reached the walls of the city hospital,' the report states.
According to the television channel, power outages have been observed during the outbreak of the fire.
