Around 70 Million Drams Allocated for the Renewal of 15 Song Recordings
The newspaper "Hraparak" reports that acting Mayor Tigran Avinyan, who is currently on vacation, approved the allocation of 69 million 989 thousand 474 drams from the city budget for the renewal of recordings of 15 songs and the creation of one new song, under the direction of first deputy mayor Armen Pambukhchyan.
The decision specifically states: "To instruct the head of the financial department of the Yerevan city administration to allocate 69,989,474 drams (sixty-nine million nine hundred eighty-nine thousand four hundred seventy-four) from the budget amount envisaged for the implementation of the program 'Cultural Events', section 08, group 02, class 04, and the economic classification item 4639 'Other Current Grants', to 'Kombinat Production' LLC for financial support for the creation of renewed performances of 15 favorite songs dedicated to the celebrations in Yerevan in 2024, as well as for the production of a music video for one new song."
It seems that while the Yerevan Municipality has addressed issues concerning garbage collection and other matters, the focus has remained on the renewal of celebratory songs for Yerevan, with approximately 70 million drams allocated from the city budget for this purpose.
Auroranews contacted the press service of the municipality to verify the information, and they referenced the order of the Mayor of Yerevan dated August 2, 2024.
