Weather in Armenia

On August 10, the weather across the territory of the Republic of Armenia is expected to be precipitation-free. From August 11-14, brief rain and thunderstorms are anticipated in some regions in the afternoon.

This was reported by the Hydrometeorological Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Armenia.

The wind will be southeast at a speed of 2-5 m/s, with gusts expected to reach 18-23 m/s during thunderstorms. In the evening, wind intensification is expected in Armavir, and in the foothills of Kotayk and Aragatsotn, reaching speeds of 17-21 m/s.

The air temperature will drop by 3-5 degrees Celsius on August 11.

In Yerevan, on August 10, and on the 13th and 14th, dry weather is forecasted. On August 11-12, brief rain and thunderstorms may occur in certain areas of the city during the evening hours.

In the evenings, wind gusts of 16-20 m/s are anticipated. During the day on August 10, temperatures in the capital will range from 35-37 degrees Celsius, while in the evening, temperatures will be recorded at +29 to +31 degrees.
