VIDEO: Casualties and Injuries at Konstantinovka Supermarket Due to Russian Forces Strike – Zelensky
At least 4 people have died and 24 others have been injured as a result of a strike by Russian forces on a supermarket in Konstantinovka, located in the Donetsk region. This information was reported by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
“The strike by Russian terrorists targeted an ordinary supermarket and post office. There are still people trapped under the rubble. Rescue operations are ongoing, and everything will be done to save lives. As of now, 4 fatalities have been confirmed. I extend my condolences to the families and loved ones of the victims. At least 24 people have been injured,” he wrote on his Telegram channel.
Earlier, Ukrainian media reported that Russian forces shelled the city of Konstantinovka in the Donetsk region on the morning of August 9, which resulted in a fire breaking out at the site. Photographs from the scene have also been published.
