Musk Promises to 'Trim the Mustache' of Venezuela's President After Blocking X for 10 Days

The tension between Venezuela's President Nicolás Maduro and X social media owner Elon Musk has intensified, with Maduro blocking access to the platform in the country for 10 days due to the uproar surrounding disputed presidential elections, according to Reuters.

Maduro stated that he signed a resolution presented by the regulatory body Conatel, which declares that "the X social network is suspended for 10 days." Furthermore, the Venezuelan president accused Musk of inciting hatred, civil war, and death.

"X, get out of Venezuela for 10 days," Maduro said in a speech broadcast on state television.

In response, American billionaire Elon Musk joked that he would use a space laser against the Venezuelan president after he decided to block the X social network. "We will trim his mustache from space," Musk quipped on his page on X.

It is worth noting that recently, Maduro claimed that the United States and businessman Elon Musk were behind an unsuccessful coup attempt in Venezuela.
