Opera Theater Deems Electricity Interruptions Unacceptable; Management to Address Authorities

The Alexander Spendiaryan National Academic Theater of Opera and Ballet has called the attention of relevant authorities to the issue of frequent interruptions in the supply of electricity.

“Yesterday, during a ballet performance at the Alexander Spendiaryan National Academic Theater of Opera and Ballet, there was yet another interruption in the electricity supply by the power supply company, without prior notice, causing yet another halt to the ongoing performance. This recurring issue not only causes significant inconvenience and moral damage but also leads to substantial material and financial losses for the theater in carrying out its normal operational activities, as well as generating the audience’s understandable outrage. Particularly yesterday, when a full house was entertained by a guest ballet troupe from abroad,” stated the statement released by the theater's staff.

The authors of the statement deem the power supply company’s regular and prolonged interruptions in electricity supply unacceptable and announced that the theater will address the relevant authorities regarding the matter. “We ask for the audience's understanding for the inconvenience caused by the electricity supplier, and we invite the relevant authorities to focus on resolving the frequent interruptions in the electricity supply,” the statement concludes.
