Central Asia can become a key transport and logistics hub, Tokayev says

The President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, believes that the Central Asia region has the potential to become a significant global transport and logistics hub.

"New opportunities are emerging related to the development of Kazakhstan's maritime infrastructure, including the Aktau and Kurik ports, through which increasing volumes of cargo from China and the Central Asian countries will pass to the South Caucasus, Turkey, and further into Europe," he explained.
