Member of the Armenian Olympic team, gold, silver, and bronze medalist of the Olympic Games, Greco-Roman wrestler Arthur Aleksanyan has reached the finals of the Olympic Games currently taking place in Paris and will fight for the Olympic double championship tomorrow.

In the semifinals of Paris 2024, Aleksanyan faced the Cuban Gabriel Rusilio and achieved a brilliant victory with a score of 5:3.

In the quarterfinals, Aleksanyan wrestled against Uzbekistan's representative, the world runner-up, 40-year-old Rustam Asakalov, and secured an impressive victory with a score of 9:5 thanks to his high-quality willpower in the final moments.

It’s worth noting that at the start, Aleksanyan had already won against South Korean representative Sinjun Kim with a score of 9:0.
