Renowned Director David Lynch Diagnosed with Terminal Illness: Cause Revealed

The famous American filmmaker and director David Lynch has revealed that he is suffering from terminal emphysema, which has developed due to smoking.

As a result of his illness, Lynch is unable to leave his home for extended periods. He noted that he can only move short distances until his "oxygen runs out". "I have emphysema from years of smoking. I am confined to my home, whether I like it or not. It’s dangerous for me to get sick, even catching a cold," he said.

The 78-year-old director has been forced to quit smoking. Lynch stated that if he decides to make a film again, he would have to do it remotely. "But I wouldn’t want to do that too much," the director added.
