What Weather to Expect in the Coming Days

In certain regions of the Republic of Armenia, short-lived rain and thunderstorms are expected from August 4 to 8, particularly in the afternoons. This information is provided by the Hydro-Meteorological and Monitoring Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Armenia.

It is noted that winds will be coming from the southwest at speeds of 2-5 m/s, with an expected increase in wind strength during thunderstorms, reaching 18-23 m/s.

"In the evening hours, in Armavir, as well as in the foothills of Kotayk and Aragatsotn, an intensification of winds is expected, with speeds of 14-18 m/s," the forecast states.

The air temperature will gradually rise by 4-8 degrees today and tomorrow. In Yerevan, from August 4 to 8, dry weather is expected. Wind intensification during thunderstorms is also anticipated, with speeds of 18-22 m/s, and in the evening hours, speeds of 14-18 m/s.
