VIDEO: Azerbaijani Ship Burning in Caspian Sea, Casualties Reported

An Azerbaijani ship is on fire near the "Gyarbi Chyragh" platform in the Caspian Sea, approximately 70 km off the coast, according to Azerbaijani media citing the country's Ministry of Emergency Situations.

The fire broke out in the ship's engine. The ship's mechanic and another crew member have sustained burns.

It has been reported that firefighting efforts are underway and that the crew of the burning ship is being evacuated and transferred to nearby vessels.
