Precipitation to Resume: Weather in Armenia

After a day of pause, precipitation will resume in Armenia starting today. This information is provided by the Hydro-Meteorological and Monitoring Center.

"On July 31 and from August 1 to 4, brief rain and thunderstorms are expected in certain regions," the statement said.

During thunderstorms, an increase in wind speed is anticipated, reaching 18-23 m/s. In the evening hours, strong winds of 17-20 m/s are expected in Armavir, as well as in the foothills of Kotayk and Aragatsotn.

Thunderstorms and brief rain are also forecasted for certain areas of Yerevan during the evening. Wind speeds may reach 18-22 m/s during thunderstorms.

Today, daytime temperatures in the capital will range between 32-34 degrees Celsius, while nighttime temperatures will be between 19-21 degrees Celsius.
