VIDEO. How a Tornado Flips Airplanes at the Airport in Tatarstan

A tornado has occurred at Begishevo Airport in the Tukayevsky District of Tatarstan, flipping several airplanes and damaging buildings within the airport area. This was reported by NTR 24 television, referencing eyewitness accounts.

According to reports, strong winds due to adverse weather conditions flipped several training aircraft. The metal cladding of a warehouse and hangar was also torn off, trees were uprooted, and a section of the concrete fence was damaged.

Previously, Roman Vilfand, the director of the Scientific Hydrometeorological Center of Russia, noted that the number of tornadoes in the country is expected to increase year by year. The expert reminded that, according to 'Roshydromet', the number of such natural disasters in the last 25 years has doubled in the country.
