Long-lasting Magnetic Storms Expected on Earth
From Tuesday to Thursday, magnetic storms are expected on Earth. According to the Phobos weather center, a G3 level magnetic storm will occur today, while G2 level storms are anticipated on Wednesday and Thursday.
As reported by RIA Novosti, possible disruptions to navigation and communication systems may occur, and some individuals may experience a deterioration in their well-being.
Meanwhile, scientists from the Institute of Space Research of the Russian Academy of Sciences had warned that a medium-strength geomagnetic storm began on July 24. Additionally, a group of American scientists from the University of Colorado and the University of Maryland concluded that solar storms could threaten not only the Earth's orbital satellites and communication systems but also disrupt other critical infrastructure, including pipelines.
