VIDEO: How Russia's FSB Arrested a Citizen for Spying for Ukraine
The Federal Security Service of Russia (FSB) has arrested a citizen of the Russian Federation in the Zaporizhia region who was passing information to Ukrainian authorities about the Russian Armed Forces. This was reported by the agency.
The operational-search measures revealed that the individual, recruited by the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine in the Zaporizhia region, was acting on their assignment by gathering and transferring data through the Telegram internet messenger regarding the subdivisions of the Russian Armed Forces to facilitate subsequent missile and artillery strikes against them.
The investigative department of the FSB in the Zaporizhia region has initiated a criminal case based on Article 276 of the Russian Criminal Code (espionage).
