Teacher Accused of Hitting Child in Vedi Kindergarten Released

The teacher arrested for using violence against a student at the Vedi kindergarten has been released. This was reported by the Ministry of Internal Affairs to Aurora.news.

"The 72-hour detention period has expired, and there were no grounds to select a preventive measure against him," the Ministry added.

It is recalled that on July 26, a video was publicly shared online showing a kindergarten employee physically abusing and hitting a child.

The Investigative Committee had reported that the teacher was charged under Article 196, Part 2, Clause 3 of the RA Criminal Code, specifically for causing significant physical pain or psychological suffering to a minor.
