Russia's Foreign Ministry Reveals Number of Sanctions Imposed by the Collective West
The countries of the Collective West have imposed nearly 20,000 sanctions against the Russian economy. This was announced by Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Pankin.
“Approximately 20,000 different restrictive measures have already been applied against Russia. Essentially, they cannot be called sanctions, as sanctions are a legitimate means established by the UN Security Council, while these are unilateral restrictive measures,” the diplomat stated.
According to Pankin, the ongoing process of sanctions imposed by the US and the EU is aimed at weakening Russia. “This calculation is unjustified, despite the fact that such calculations are supported by a powerful disinformation campaign conducted through various means today,” the deputy minister added.
