Over 800 Trucks with Armenian License Plates Await Crossing at Lars

At the Upper Lars checkpoint in North Ossetia, the queue of trucks waiting to cross the Russian-Georgian border has reached over 2,700 vehicles. This was reported by the website of the North Ossetia Traffic Organization Center.

As of the morning of July 29, a total of 2,734 trucks have been registered in the electronic queue. Among them, 847 have Armenian license plates.

It is noteworthy that on July 26, traffic was banned at the Upper Lars checkpoint due to a mudslide, but the road was later reopened.

The military road is the only functioning land route connecting Armenia to Russia via Georgia.
