Heavy Rain, Hail, Strong Wind Expected in Upcoming Days
In the territory of the Republic of Armenia, the night of July 29 is expected to bring intermittent rain and thunderstorms across significant parts of the regions, with heavy downpours likely in some areas, and the possibility of hail.
On July 29 and during the day on the 31st, brief periods of rain and thunderstorms are anticipated in separate regions. This information comes from the Hydrometeorological and Monitoring Center.
The wind will be northward at 3-6 m/s, with wind intensification expected during thunderstorms, reaching speeds of 18-23 m/s. In the evening hours, wind intensification of 17-20 m/s is expected in Armavir and the foothills of Kotayk and Aragatsotn.
In Yerevan, rain and thunderstorms are anticipated on the night of July 29, with heavy rainfall expected in some areas of the city. The daytime on July 29 is expected to be dry without precipitation. Wind intensification is also expected during the thunderstorms, with speeds of 18-22 m/s, and in the evening hours at 17-20 m/s.
The air temperature in the capital today is forecasted to be 30-32 degrees Celsius during the day and 23-25 degrees Celsius in the evening.
