Armen Koloyan has been elected as the Director of Public Radio. This decision was made by the Council of the Public Broadcaster a short while ago.
It is noteworthy that Armen Koloyan is a long-time employee of the 'Azatutyun' Radio Station. His candidacy received votes from 5 members of the Public Broadcaster Council, while the former director, Garegin Khumaryan, received 0 votes.
Former Public Radio Director Garegin Khumaryan stated on his Facebook page that Armen Koloyan's election was already predetermined.
