Masked Individuals Break Into 66-Year-Old Man's Home, Assault Him and Steal Half a Million Drams
On July 17, an extraordinary incident occurred in the Kotayk Province. At approximately 3:50 AM, Sasha H., a 66-year-old resident of Kotayk Province, called the police department of Hrazdan to report that unknown individuals had broken into his home and assaulted him, as reported by Shamshyan.com.
On-site, Sasha H. informed the police that at around 3:00 AM on the same day, two masked individuals entered his home through the bathroom window, bound his hands with adhesive tape, and began to beat him on various parts of his body, demanding to know where the money was located. After revealing the location, they stole approximately 500,000 drams and continued searching for more money throughout the house. During the search, Sasha H. managed to escape through the bedroom window, went to his neighbor's house, and called the police using their phone. The masked assailants fled the scene, taking with them the recording device from the living room cameras.
Documents regarding the incident have been drawn up at the Hrazdan police department and have been forwarded to the Kotayk regional investigative department of the RA Investigative Committee.
