Certificates of Cadastre Issued in Kiran Are Considered Valid Until Nullified by Court, Cadastre Official
Mariam Z.
According to the law, cadastre certificates are considered valid and possess evidential force until such registrations are declared invalid by a court ruling. This was stated today, July 26, at a press conference by Armen Aleksanyan, advisor to the head of the State Committee of Cadastre of Armenia, while addressing the issue that in the village of Kiran, Tavush Province, some residents' lands have reportedly passed to Azerbaijan as a result of the so-called "land demarcation process," despite them holding cadastre certificates.
“I do not have information on the remaining matters; such cases may exist. The rest will be carried out in accordance with established procedures,” he said.
