1797 Applications Approved for State Housing Assistance Program

The government has temporarily suspended the state-sponsored housing construction program in border villages, as the number of applications has reached 2000. In this regard, the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs has issued a clarification.

“Dear citizens, we inform you that there is a high demand within the framework of the state housing assistance program for rural areas near the border. Currently, the Ministry’s Unified Social Service has approved 1797 applications, of which only 1517 are slated for 2024 (originally planned for 560 beneficiaries in 2024). Additionally, around 255 applications have been received by partner banks and are currently under review.”

“As previously announced and set forth by a government decision, there will be a suspension of the program after the 2000 applications have been satisfied. This will provide the opportunity to analyze the current situation, assess objectives, identify challenges, and evaluate the results. Based on the results of the studies, a decision will be made regarding the continuation of the program, with modifications or under the same conditions,” the statement from the ministry reads.
