Activists Glue Themselves to Runway at Germany's Largest Airport
Germany's largest and busiest airport, located in Frankfurt am Main, was forced to cancel nearly 140 flights due to a protest by climate activists. Members of the 'Last Generation' movement invaded the airport premises and glued themselves to the runway. They carried signs reading 'Oil Kills', according to reports from apnews.com.
After some time, airport operations resumed.
