Parent Speaks Out on Incident Involving Children

We are in a psychologically difficult situation; the case is in the investigation phase. If it were proven that my child had committed the assault, let them publish it anew. This was stated by M.A., the father of the 13-year-old child accused of allegedly attacking an 11-year-old.

The parent claims that no assault took place. “There was no assault, that’s all I can say until the investigation is concluded. I regret that such things are being done. The absurdity is that correct information has been provided—it shows the child’s age, etc.—but it has not been proven whether an assault actually occurred or not. The other child says, ‘he hit me,’ while my child responds, ‘no, I didn’t hit him; he was sitting in the yard and fell down.’ Now all of this is under investigation; if nothing has been proven, such things should not be published,” explained the parent.

The parent emphasized that there should be more caution when publicizing information related to children and that the safety of the children should be taken into account.
